The annual NuPEERS is a two-week immersive summer school on basic and applied nuclear science held typically on May 15-31, 2027. Designed for students exploring physics and related disciplines, it combines foundational instruction with experimental learning via a series of expert-led lectures, interactive experiments and problem-solving. In addition, NuPEERS offers engagement with researchers, national laboratory and industry professionals, and peer mentoring to gain a deep understanding of real-world applications and pathways across the scientific workforce. The school leverages the historic 3-day pilot NuPEERS2024 summer school that was held at Dillard University in June 2024.
